SPECIAL NEEDS IN MY CITY's  7th Annual Health and Wellness Conference offers parents and caregivers a much-needed break from the daily demands of caring for children and adults with special needs.

SNIMC understands the immense challenges faced by special needs families, from advocating for quality education and healthcare to ensuring meaningful employment opportunities. That’s why, on Saturday, November 8, 2025, we’re hosting the 7th Annual Health and Wellness Conference.

This Conference provides parents with the chance to relax, learn from leading experts, and connect with other families—all while enjoying a delicious, catered breakfast and lunch.

Dr Matthew

Dr. Matthew Devins

Dr. Matthew Devins serves as the Executive Director of the Stanislaus County Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA). In this role, he oversees special education services and resources for students, parents, and school staff across the region. His responsibilities include managing special education programs, coordinating services, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Dr. Aisha

Aisha Chaudhry, MD

Licensed occupational medicine & certified lifestyle medicine physician with Kaiser Permanente.

Dr. Chaudhry has extensive training in clinical medicine and public health and manages work-related injuries and illnesses, with a strong emphasis on prevention. She collaborates with businesses, employees, regulators, insurers, public health officials, and other health professionals to foster safer workplaces.

Dr Matthew Blakeley

Dr. Matthew Blakeley

Dr. Blakeley is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist committed to lifelong learning. His areas of focus include depression, anxiety, grief, relapse prevention, relationship skill-building, and working with transitional-age youth. Dr. Blakely has experience working with parents and children to help manage ADHD and has worked within the school system to help students, of all ages, adjust emotionally. His areas of expertise include adult and child psychiatry.

Dr. Tod Zwahlen

Dr. Tod Zwahlen

Dr. Tod Zwahlen worked in a wide variety of psychological fields including developmental therapy, child custody evaluations, individual/family reunification therapy, and comprehension/pension evaluations for our veterans. He has also worked for years with children with autism as a Floortime Specialist, which helped him understand how autism impacts family dynamics. He currently specializes in conducting autism evaluations for children and adolescents.
