2014 Adapted Bike Camp (April 21-25) As Society for Disabilities’ Annual Adapted Bike Camp approaches, we at specialneedsinmycity.org can’t help but get excited about this amazing event for our kids who want to learn how to bike. Every year Bruce Davey, an adapted physical education teacher (SUSD) conducts a week-long camp, fitting children with the proper sized bikes and coaching and training high school volunteers to assist children with biking.
